Water Supply Demand Strategy

Gippsland Water has finalised a Water Supply Demand Strategy (WSDS) for the region to secure a balance between demand for water and available water resources over the next 50 years.

Talking with our customers and communities is an important part of the planning process, and we have received feedback from a number of information sessions held over the past 12 months.

All urban water authorities in Victoria are required by the government to produce a Water Supply Demand Strategy to integrate the concepts of using water wisely, while supporting growing communities and thriving economies.
