Gippsland Water has exchanged 30 water efficient showerheads with Warragul Linen Service employees as part of Gippsland Water's free showerhead exchange program. The showerhead exchange program invites eligible customers to swap their old showerhead for a new three-star water saving showerhead at no cost.

Gippsland Water is working to repair the outlet pipe in the treated water storage basin at the Warragul Water Treatment Plant, which is believed to have broken as a result of degradation caused by normal operational activity. To enable Gippsland Water staff to undertake the repairs, the storage basin will need to be emptied completely.

Local organisations and community groups are invited to take advantage of Gippsland Water's Mobile Water Fountain available for events across the region. The portable fountain includes two stainless steel troughs on both sides of the trailer with eight drinking taps and bottle fill-up points to provide a cool, refreshing water source at indoor and outdoor events - particularly during the summer months.

Gippsland Water customers in Churchill and Yinnar have benefited from $170,000 worth of upgrades to their water reticulation system. Gippsland Water has completed upgrades to three chlorinators in the Churchill and Yinnar reticulation system over the past 18 months to improve the quality of the water delivered to customers in these towns.
