Gippsland Water has exchanged 30 water efficient showerheads with Warragul Linen Service employees as part of Gippsland Water's free showerhead exchange program. Gippsland Water is working to repair the outlet pipe in the treated water storage basin at the Warragul Water Treatment Plant, which is believed to have broken as a result of degradation caused by normal operational activity. Local organisations and community groups are invited to take advantage of Gippsland Water's Mobile Water Fountain available for events across the region. The portable fountain includes two stainless steel troughs on both sides of the trailer with eight drinking taps and bottle fill-up points to provide a cool, refreshing water source at indoor and outdoor events - particularly during the summer months.
