Gippsland Water first at Warragul Water Treatment Plant

Gippsland Water has begun commissioning its new $2.2 million desludging facility at the Warragul Water Treatment Plant marking the first time the water corporation has used a centrifuge system at one of its treatment plants. This new system will collect waste in the water treatment process and thicken it prior to transporting it to Gippsland Water's Soil and Organic Recycling Facility at Dutson Downs.  More information...

Water week bursts out with free fun day

All water wise Gippslanders are invited to a fun-filled community day to be held at Victory Park in Traralgon on Saturday 18 October to celebrate National Water Week. This year's celebrations feature free showbags, a jumping castle, face painting, and a barbeque, plus colourful and interactive displays showcasing Gippsland Water and the Gippsland Water Factory.

Regulator makes final call on water and wastewater tariffs

Gippsland Water welcomes the Essential Services Commission's (ESC) final decision on its Water Plan 2008-2013 which was announced today following an extensive year-long ESC-led review process. The final decision is a major milestone in the review conducted by the independent economic regulator for the Victorian water industry, and secures major infrastructure projects, improvements to water supply reliability, and operational expenditure to enable the corporation to continue to deliver high quality services to the region.
