Gippsland Water 2006-07 Annual Report
The 2006-07 financial year has been a significant one for Gippsland Water. Challenges such as bushfires, floods and drought conditions contributed to significant water quality issues that resulted in the diversion of services to the region.
Despite these challenges our organisation has maintained excellent customer service and high standards of compliance. We have also delivered on significant capital works and extensive long-term planning programs, securing water supplies for central Gippsland.

Gippsland Water 2006-07 Safe Drinking Water Annual Report
Gippsland Water has released its 2006-07 Safe Drinking Water Annual Report. Gippsland Water conducts a water quality monitoring program to test the quality of the drinking water present at customer’s taps in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Regulations 2005.
Final Water Plan 2008-2013
Following weeks of consultation with customers, stakeholders and the community, Gippsland Water has released its final Water Plan - the proposed pricing submission that covers the regulatory period from 2008 until 2013.
Water Restrictions
Permanent Water Saving Rules are now in force for all Gippsland Water customers. When water restrictions aren't in place, Permanent Water Saving Rules automatically take effect.
Water Supply Demand Strategy
Gippsland Water has finalised a Water Supply Demand Strategy for the region to ensure a balance between demand for water and available water resources over the next 50 years. |
