Permanent Water Saving Rules apply to customers in all towns.

The rules are part of Gippsland Water's Permanent Water Saving Plan that encourages residential and commercial customers to adopt permanent water saving habits.

Customers should be aware that when water restrictions are in place, it replaces Permanent Water Saving Rules. When water restrictions are lifted Gippsland Water customers must return to using Permanent Water Saving Rules.

Permanent Water Saving Rules cover a number of areas including residential and commercial gardening, water fountains, vehicle cleaning, swimming pools and spas, cleaning of paved areas, water cartage and the construction industry.
