Resident wins a shopping spree
One lucky Morwell resident now has $250 worth of shopping vouchers to spend in Morwell businesses, thanks to choosing to pay his Gippsland Water bill by Direct Debit.
The resident, who had signed up to Direct Debit only in July, was chosen from a random draw of Gippsland Water customers. There will be monthly winners drawn for 12 months with trader groups participating in Morwell, Moe, Traralgon and Sale.
The man, who asked not to be identified, can spend the vouchers at participating shops who are part of the Advance Morwell trader group.
Paul Clark, Gippsland Water General Manager Customer Service and Communication, thanked the traders for their participation. “Advance Morwell has been very supportive of the competition. Being able to spend the prize money in local businesses helps us to support the wider community,” he said.
Soularity owner, Ruth Codlin, a member of Advance Morwell, congratulated Gippsland Water for backing local businesses with the competition and also thanked the Advance Morwell participating businesses for their involvement.
The monthly $250 shopping voucher prize draw continues until July 2015, so customers are encouraged to visit gippswater.com.au to register for Direct Debit as a convenient way of paying their account.
