Sign up for e-Bills and win $500
Gippsland Water is giving customers the chance to win $500 by simply signing up to receive their bill by email.
"Printing and sending bills through the mail is one of our larger expenses, so encouraging customers to use the e-Bill system is both convenient for the customer but also allows us to save money and continue putting downward pressure on their bills,” said General Manager of Customer Service and Communications, Mr Paul Clark.
To be in the running for a $500 credit to their water bill, residential customers need to register to receive an e-Bill by June 30th 2016.
“Our computer system will pick an e-Bill recipient at random from the data base and that person will receive the credit,” added Mr Clark.
“Any of the more than 4,500 Gippsland Water customers already receiving
e-Bills will be in the running to receive the credit, so they don’t need to do anything.”
“Over the last 12 months we’ve looked at a range of initiatives to both cut costs and put as much downward pressure on water and sewerage bills as possible. We hope this competition will help remind customers of the convenience of
e-Bills as well as other things such as Direct Debit and e-Banking to pay bills.
Customers can find out more about the e-Bills competition on the Gippsland Water website.
