Water spill south of Rosedale

Gippsland Water has been notified of a significant spill of treated wastewater south of Rosedale, due to a break on the Regional Outfall System (ROS) pipeline.

The pipeline has been isolated, in the vicinity of Willung Road, Rosedale.

The EPA has been notified and traffic management will be in place over the next 48 hours.

Customers’ water and wastewater services are not affected.

Gippsland Water appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as work continues to rectify this situation, and assess how to proactively anticipate any potential disruptions.
