Have your say at Gippsland Water
Gippsland Water customers can now have a greater say in how the water corporation does business and get paid for their input.
“While we have a long history of involving customers in projects we want to broaden the numbers of people involved to ensure we’re getting a representative take on what our customer’s views are,” said General Manager of Customer Service and Communications, Mr Paul Clark.
“We’re constantly planning for the future of the region in terms of growth and making sure that the infrastructure that’s in place is able to meet demand,” added Mr Clark.
“Where we’d like customer’s assistance now is to sign up to helping us in an occasional focus group or an online survey. Having customers available to share their views will help us considerably. In return for that assistance participants will be paid.”
“We appreciate that people are busy and that time is precious. We don’t think it’s appropriate for us to ask for customers input into projects and simply expect them to give up their time with no payment. This approach will hopefully provide a pool of people from across the region that can help us in the future,” concluded Mr Clark.
Gippsland Water customers can fill out a brief application form on line at gippswater.com.au. Following completion of the application form, they may be asked to participate in either focus groups or on-line surveys.
Participants will be paid up to $100 for their involvement.
