Lake Glenmaggie Blue Green Algae

We’d like to reassure our customers in the Maffra and Coongulla areas that the drinking water we provide is safe, and unaffected by the recent Lake Glenmaggie Blue Green Algae outbreak.

While we do take raw water from Glenmaggie to supply parts of our region, our treatment process removes any algae so that the water from your tap is safe to drink.

We’ll keep you posted if the situation changes. If you have any other issues with your water in the short-term, you can contact our 24/7 faults and emergencies team on 1800 057 057.
