Position Details: GWF Wastewater Technologist

Permanent full time position

Starting salary range $87,740 - $109,358 plus superannuation

We currently have an opportunity for a Wastewater Technologist to join the team at the Gippsland Water Factory.

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day coordination of field resources and technical support in relation to the operation of the Gippsland Water Factory. You will also lead a small team of operators as you work to ensure wastewater treatment processes meet customer needs and are compliant with regulatory and industry guidelines and standards.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or industry experience
  • Experience in the management, including risk management of wastewater treatment systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Sound project and contract management experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
