Position Details: Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

Permanent full time position

Starting Salary Range $61,408 - $72,611 plus superannuation

We currently have an opportunity for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join the Wastewater Treatment and Environment workgroup.

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day operation of our wastewater treatment facilities to ensure that wastewater is suitable for recycling or release to the environment within regulatory and industry guidelines and standards. You will be committed to working and maintaining a safe workplace for not only yourself but also contractors and visitors to the sites.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Knowledge and experience in wastewater treatment
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislative requirements
  • Ability to solve problems relating to mechanical or process problems
  • Proven ability to work as part of a safety focused team
