Share your views on our miscellaneous fees and charges

Our customers have told us that our fees and charges should be affordable and fair.

In response to this feedback and in preparation for our next Price Submission to the Essential Services Commission, we’ve been reviewing our fees and charges to ensure that they reflect the cost for us to provide our services.

We're asking for feedback on the costs associated with some of our services that are currently covered by miscellaneous fees and charges. These services include:

These services are usually provided to plumbers, builders, consultants, and property owners. People in these industries may be particularly interested in providing feedback.

How we will use your feedback

Your feedback will help our team gain a better understanding of how our services are used, and if the costs truly reflect some of our services.

We’ll consider your feedback if we propose changes to fees and charges for these services in our 2023 Price Submission.

About Us

Gippsland Water supplies fresh clean drinking water to more than 70,000 customers, and wastewater services to more than 63,000 customers across an area of more than 5,000 square kilometres. It maintains a $1 billion infrastructure network, which includes more than 2,000 kilometres of water mains, 15 water treatment plants, over 1,700 kilometres of sewer mains and 14 wastewater treatment plants.
