Property Design appointments
Property designs are now complete.
If you have not yet signed and returned your design plan, please ensure it is returned to the i-HUB, PO Box 139, Loch Sport 3851 ASAP.
If you have not received your property design please contact the i-HUB on 1800 631 688 or visit Shop 1, 48-52 Lake Street, Loch Sport.
Reticulation works will be commencing June 2014
Gippsland Water contractors will be commencing reticulation work in your area of Loch Sport. Please be aware of Traffic and Road closure management throughout the course of construction.
On-lot works will start October 2014
Gippsland Water Contractors will begin installation of the Pressure Sewer Unit on your property as per your property design plan.
Easy Connection Package & Capital Contribution information will be sent to each household during October – November 2014.
Information about your options to connect along with a connection application will be sent to you in the mail for reply to Gippsland Water by January 2015.
Stage Declaration & Capital contribution will be due between February – March 2015.
Your area will be declared ‘Serviced’ and your elected payment of the Capital Contribution for your area will be due.
Connection to the sewerage scheme will start in February - March 2015
Following Stage Declaration you will be able to connect your house to the sewerage scheme under your chosen ‘Option’ and a PIC number will be issued to your chosen plumber with receipt of application.
Tariffs and Billing
Gippsland Water is able to apply standard tariffs as of declaration of service to your area. A non- connected tariff will apply to all Stage B properties, including vacant land as of 1 March 2015.
Where residential properties apply to connect within the early connection timeframe, the connected tariff will be waived for the first 4 month bill period and be applied as of 1 July 2015.
Gippsland Water accounts are issued on a four month basis with the first tariff accounts being sent out to Stage B customers in June 2015.
