Managing 12 farming and
forestry properties

We know the troubles our regions farmers face and work together to develop innovation.

The Agribusiness division exists to effectively manage and reuse treated water and to manage our agricultural assets across the central Gippsland region. In all our team manage 12 farming and forestry properties which combined cover 10,000 Ha. The largest property ‘Dutson Downs” near Golden Beach covers 8,250 Ha.

Enterprises carried out on Agribusiness properties include:

  • Recycled water irrigation of pastures, fodder crops, winter and summer crops.
  • Cattle breeding and finishing.
  • Dryland cropping
  • Soft Wood Forestry.

All agribusiness properties are managed in a sustainable manner with a focus on soil and animal health. Integration of “Revive” compost products from the Soil and Organic Recycling Facility (SORF) is a critical component of these sustainable management practices.

Agribusiness properties are located at - Drouin, Warragul, Mirboo North, Trafalgar, Moe, Morwell, Moondarra, Heyfield, Maffra, Stratford, Dutson Downs and Seaspray.
