Information to assist with council awareness and developers

About our infrastructure sequence plans

We've developed infrastructure sequencing plans to be used for:

  • our shared asset budget
  • Council awareness to understand our preferred direction for future growth
  • to give developers a visual understanding of our infrastructure sequencing.

These plans apply to the towns and are intended as a guide, including future shared assets.

The latest infrastructure sequence plans include the following towns and changes:

Churchill

  • Re-aligned the water main in 2b
  • Sequence timing for areas 0 and 1 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 2 pushed out from 82/83 to 83/84.

Drouin

  • 1b and 0n have been removed from the plan as they are fully developed.
  • The water main north of 3h has been removed as it has been constructed
  • Sewer main in Muster Street has (in 3b) been removed since it has been constructed.
  • Sequence timing for areas 0, 1 and 2 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 3 pushed out from 30/31 to 32/33.

Heyfield

  • Part of the shared asset sewer main has been constructed south of Tyson Rd, therefore development areas south of Tyson Road have changed from sequence timing of 2 to 1.
  • Sequence area 1h and 1f added to the ISP to align with Wellington Shire Council’s Heyfield Structure Plan
  • Sequence timing for area 1 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 2 pushed out from 49/50 to 169/170

Maffra

  • Sequence timing for areas 0 and 1 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 2 brought forward from 37/38 to 34/35.

Moe- Newborough

  • Removed shared asset water main in Hayes Road (in 2g) as it has been constructed
  • Removed shared asset water main along Torres Street and Old Sale Road as this will be constructed by Gippsland Water
  • Removed water main in Waterloo Road and Napoleon Boulevard as it has been constructed
  • Removed sewer main running west from area 2g as it has been constructed
  • Timing sequence of 2c, 2d, 2e, and 2f to brought forward to sequence 1r, 1s, 1t, and 1w.
  • Sequence timing for areas 1 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 2 pushed out from 44/45 to 51/52, sequence3 changed from 80/81 to 69/70 and sequence 4 timing brought forward from 111/112 to 97/98.

Morwell

  • Removed 1h as it has been fully developed
  • Removed part of shared asset sewer main in Yallourn North – Morwell Road and Gordon Street as has been constructed (in between 2b and 2c)
  • Sequence timing for areas 1 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 2 brought forward from 34/35 to 33/34 and timing for area 3 from 65/66 to 62/63.

Sale

  • Changed the timing sequence of 4a as 3b
  • Removed the sewer pipe through Dyer Avenue (adjacent to 2c) as it has been constructed
  • Sequence timing for areas 1 and 2 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 3 pushed out from 40/41 to 43/44 and area 4 pushed out from 43/44 to 53/54.

Stratford

  • Removed existing development from the 1c and 1d
  • Sequence timing for area 1 pushed out one year

Trafalgar

  • Sequence timing for areas 1 and 2 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 2 brought forward from 31/32 to 28/29 and area 3 from 35/36 to 32/33.

Traralgon

  • Removed a section of the water main at Rise Boulevard (in 2e) as it has been constructed.
  • Removed a section of water main in Broadway Boulevard (in-between 3b and 2e) as it has been constructed.
  • Sequence timing for areas 1 and 2 pushed out one year.

Warragul

  • Removed sewer pipe in Bona Vista Road, (in 3h) as it has been constructed
  • Removed water main in Snows Hill Avenue (in 3e) as it has been constructed
  • Removed water main section from Crole Drive as it has been constructed (In 2b)
  • Removed water main in Paramount Drive and Twin Ranges Drive (in 2e) as it has been constructed
  • Removed sewer main in Copelands Road (in 1k) as it has been constructed
  • Sequence timing for areas 1 and 2 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 3 pushed out from 32/33 to 34/35 and timing of area 4 pushed out from 63/64 to 70/71

Wurruk

  • Sequence timing for areas 0,1 and 2 pushed out one year, sequence timing for area 3 pushed out from 54/55 to 56/57.

Yarragon

  • Sequence timing for areas 0,1 and 2 pushed out one year.

 

The establishment of reimbursement rate is set by the signing of the Developer Works Deed. The reimbursement rate is only set and locked at the time of signing. The Deed allows a year for the completion of the works.

If the works are not completed within a year, we may execute a new Developer Works Deed and apply the reimbursement rate at that time.
