Background
What we’re doing
We’re replacing our SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system as it’s nearing end of life and needs upgrading. This will ensure that our water infrastructure remains reliable and secure.
Why we’re doing it
Our current SCADA system is nearing end of life so needs upgrading.
SCADA is our key operational interface between our physical assets like pump stations and chlorinators, and our team in the field.
Our SCADA system allows us to remotely monitor and control our systems. It’s vital in ensuring we continue to provide safe and reliable drinking water and wastewater services.
This ensures that our water infrastructure remains reliable and secure and will enable us to collaborate more effectively with internal and external stakeholders in the future. It’ll also enable us to adapt and evolve with industry and customer expectations.
When we’re doing it
Design has been completed & we are now in the delivery phase of the project.
