Baw Baw locals invited to have their say on future of water services

Warragul township.
Locals can share their thoughts by attending pop-up events across the Baw Baw Shire.

Gippsland Water is encouraging community members to help plan for the future of the region’s water and wastewater services through pop-up events across Baw Baw Shire.

Residents will be able to speak face to face with Gippsland Water team members, ask questions and provide feedback to help inform the 2028-33 Price Submission and 2027 Urban Water Strategy.

These two important documents outline future services, prices, infrastructure investments and plans for water security.

There will be the opportunity to sign up to the organisation’s Sounding Board, where community members receive invitations to engagement activities that guide future decisions and outcomes for the organisation.

Pop-up events throughout Baw Baw Shire include:
- Bunnings Warragul, Saturday, 18 April, 9.30am - 2.30pm
- Drouin Woolworths, Wednesday, 6 May, 10am - 2pm
- Yarragon Craft Market, Saturday, 16 May, 8am – 2pm
- Neerim South Recreation Reserve, 16 May, 10am - 2pm
