Due to current coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions in place, as a precautionary measure to our staff and customers, we have suspended all site tours until further notice.

Tours are available for schools, universities and community groups to a number of our sites. Our tours will give you a behind-the-scenes look at Gippsland’s water and wastewater treatment processes.

Gippsland Water Factory tours

Admission to the Gippsland Water Factory is free for schools and community groups within Gippsland Water's service area.

You will learn the Gippsland Water Factory wastewater treatment process including the sustainable practices we use throughout this process.

Water and wastewater treatment plant and other site tours

Tours of our water and wastewater treatment plants provide a fascinating insight into the water industry.

Treatment plant tours are best suited to senior high-school, university and community groups. Our treatment plants are not designed for large groups, which means there are restrictions on the number of people who can attend a tour.
