Environmentally focused

in our planning, development and operations.

We rely on a clean and stable environment to provide safe drinking water for our customers.

Harvesting and distributing drinking water can have a big impact on our waterways and the ecosystems linked to underground aquifers. Treating and returning wastewater safely to our environment also demands careful management and monitoring.

Our aim is to minimise the environmental impact of supplying water and to protect our land and waterways. This applies in planning, constructing and operating our infrastructure and in managing our land.

To achieve this goal we have a range of policies and actions in place.
