Protecting the environment

We maintain systems that ensure we meet our community and statutory responsibilities for protecting the environment.

This is mainly achieved through our Environmental Management System (EMS). The EMS applies to all of our activities, products and services and includes our staff and contractors.

Our EMS has been certified by an external body as meeting the stringent requirements of Australian Standard ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems - Requirements with guidance for use. We monitor our environmental performance and report annually through our community report and our Annual Report.
