Gippsland Water pops up at Traralgon Farmers Market

Community members can learn more about major water upgrades and speak to Gippsland Water staff projects at the Traralgon Farmers Market.

Community members can speak directly with Gippsland Water staff and learn about Traralgon water upgrades at the Traralgon Farmers Market this Saturday. 

Gippsland Water staff will be at Kay Street Gardens from 8am to 1pm, to answer questions and share information about the upgrades that will support growth and maintain reliable water services.

Significant current and future projects occurring in and around the Traralgon area include:

  • The construction of a 50-megalitre treated water storage at Clarkes Road in Traralgon.
  • A new water distribution main to transfer treated water from the Traralgon water treatment plant to the Clarkes Road storage. 
  • A new water main to connect the Traralgon water system to Glengarry and surrounding townships.

Community members can also share feedback on their water and wastewater services to help inform future planning.
