Direct debit

Direct debit is an easy way to make sure your bills are paid on time. Payments can be taken directly from your nominated bank account, credit card or credit union and can be tailored to meet your requirements. You can organise a direct debit for your account that either:

  • Pays the full balance of the account on the day it is due (this date will be on your account)
  • Pays an amount in regular installments. The amount you select will be deducted from your bank account weekly, fortnightly, monthly or every four weeks.

For either option, you can defer a payment by contacting us three working days before the payment is due.

To set up this payment method, please visit our direct debit signup page.

BPAY lets you use your phone or internet banking service to pay your Gippsland Water account.

Our biller code number is 3475 and your reference number can be found in the How To Pay section on the back of your bill. Please quote this number when paying by using BPAY.

Online payment

Using your Mastercard or Visa card, you can make full or part payments of your account. This option will direct you to a secure Westpac page where you can process your payment.

Use Centrepay to make regular deductions from your Centrelink payment. Centrepay is a voluntary and easy payment option available to Centrelink customers.

Centrepay deductions can be setup directly with Gippsland Water by calling 1800 050 500 or alternatively you can go to for more information and to set-up your Centrepay deductions.

Easyway payment card

When you are in a payment plan with us, you can use an Easyway card to make your payments at the post office, over the internet, by BPAY, or over the phone. Contact us on 1800 050 500 to request an Easyway card.
